InnoFlight Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the InnoFlight iPad application (“the App”) published by InnoCrafters Group Limited (“InnoCrafters,” “we,” “us,” “our”). It does not cover:

• removeDJI's own apps (DJI Fly, RoboMaster, etc.) or any DJI service.
• removeYour iPad operating system or Apple services (including the Apple Photos app the App can hand off to).
• removeAny third-party services or networks you might use alongside the App.

We collect no personal information.

To be specific, the App does not collect, store on our servers, or transmit to us or any third party:

• blockYour name, email address, phone number, age, gender, location, or any other identifier.
• blockAny account credentials (the App has no accounts and no login).
• blockAny analytics, telemetry, usage statistics, or behavioral data.
• blockAny crash reports or diagnostic data sent to InnoCrafters.
• blockAny advertising or tracking identifiers (IDFA, IDFV).
• blockAny photos, videos, programs, or files from your iPad.
• blockAny data, video, or telemetry from your drone.

The App contains no third-party SDKs that collect data (no Firebase, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Sentry, Crashlytics, Adjust, or similar), and makes no outbound network connections to InnoCrafters or any analytics endpoint. The only network traffic the App generates is direct, local Wi-Fi communication with your drone (see Section 10).

iPadOS will ask for your permission the first time the App needs each of these:

The App does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, or full Photo Library (read) access.

You can revoke any granted permission in iPadOS Settings → InnoFlight at any time. Revoking Local Network access will prevent the App from connecting to a drone.

The App stores the following locally on your iPad. None of it is transmitted to InnoCrafters or any third party:

Live video streamed from the drone is displayed in real time and is not recorded unless you explicitly start a recording.

All of this stays on your iPad. When you delete the App, iPadOS removes everything in the App's sandbox (programs, backpack, logs, in-app captures, settings). Photos and videos you separately saved to your Apple Photo Library remain there.

None. The App shares no data with any third party because the App collects and transmits no data.

The App is suitable for children and is intended for classrooms and educational settings. The App is compliant with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by collecting no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Specifically:

Parents and teachers may use the App in classroom or home settings without providing any consent form to us, because no consent-requiring data is collected.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at support@innocrafters.ai and we will investigate.

The App is published by a Hong Kong-incorporated company and operates in compliance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).

Because we collect no personal data, the data subject rights under the PDPO (access, correction, etc.) are not engaged. If you believe we hold personal data about you and wish to exercise PDPO rights, contact us at support@innocrafters.ai and we will respond within the statutory timeframe.

For users in the European Union and European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) applies. Because the App processes no personal data, the substantive provisions of the GDPR are largely not engaged.

This is consistent with the App's bundled privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy), which declares no tracking, no tracking domains, and no collected data types. The manifest declares Required Reason API usage only for on-device UserDefaults (reason CA92.1) and file-timestamp access (reason C617.1) — neither of which involves collecting or transmitting personal data.

Because we do not collect or transmit any data, there is no server-side data to secure. On-device data (your programs, logs, captures, settings) is protected by iPadOS's standard app sandbox and file-protection mechanisms.

Communication with your drone is over your local Wi-Fi network using the Tello SDK protocol (UDP). This communication stays on your local network and is not encrypted by the Tello SDK itself. As a precaution, avoid operating the App on untrusted public Wi-Fi networks if you are concerned about other devices on the same network observing drone control traffic.

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will publish the revised version with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be announced in the App's release notes on the App Store.
